Aluminium Louvers
Aluminium louvers are slatted panels that bring rhythm, shade and privacy to a facade or a wall. We supply them as aluminium composite (ACP) louvers: an aluminium-skinned panel that is lighter, more weatherproof and far easier to install than solid extruded aluminium, at a fraction of the cost.
What are aluminium louvers?
Aluminium louvers are horizontal or vertical fins fixed across a wall or opening to filter light, add depth and give a facade its lines. In practice, most decorative and facade louvers today are made from aluminium composite (ACP) rather than solid extruded aluminium.
An ACP louver is fabricated from a 4mm aluminium composite sheet, folded into a U or box profile. You get the same metal face and the same crisp shadow lines as solid aluminium, but a third of the weight, no risk of corrosion, and a much lower cost per running foot. That is why we supply aluminium louvers as ACP louvers.

Why aluminium composite louvers, not solid aluminium
Solid extruded aluminium louvers are heavy, slow to install and expensive. Aluminium composite gives the same look and durability with none of those drawbacks.

Can aluminium louvers be used outdoors and on facades?
Yes. The aluminium skin and PVDF coating are UV stable and weatherproof, so ACP louvers are used on exterior facades, balconies, compound walls and soffits, as well as indoors.
Are aluminium louvers fire rated?
Our ACP is available in an FR grade with a fire-retardant core for facade and commercial work. Share your project code and we will confirm the right grade.
What finishes and sizes are available?
Aluminium composite louvers come in wood, stone, solid and metallic finishes, in narrow, medium and wide profiles, and are cut to custom lengths for your elevation.
How are aluminium louvers installed?
A light aluminium or GI framework is fixed to the wall or facade, then the louver profiles are clipped or screwed to it. It is a dry installation with no wet trades, so it is fast and clean.
