PVC ceiling panels are a fast, 100% waterproof alternative to a POP or gypsum false ceiling. They fix dry onto a light batten grid, need no water or curing, and come in wood, marble and plain designs, from ₹99 per sq ft.
What is a PVC ceiling?
A PVC ceiling is made of long, lightweight PVC panels that clip or screw onto a frame under the slab. The finished ceiling hides wiring and uneven slabs, just like a false ceiling, but it is waterproof and goes up in a day or two.
Because PVC does not absorb water, a PVC ceiling will not sag, crack or grow mould the way POP and gypsum can in bathrooms, kitchens and balconies. For warmer rooms, WPC and charcoal louvers give a slatted wood-look ceiling, and ACP is used for porches, canopies and commercial soffits.

Is a PVC ceiling better than a POP false ceiling?
For bathrooms, kitchens, balconies and quick jobs, yes: PVC is waterproof, dry-installed and cheaper installed. POP gives a seamless paintable finish but is wet, slow to cure and not waterproof.
Can PVC panels be used on a bathroom ceiling?
