What is an ACP sheet?
An ACP sheet (aluminium composite panel) is a flat cladding board made of two thin aluminium skins bonded to a solid core. The result is a panel that is far lighter than solid metal or stone, dead flat, easy to cut, rout and fold, and finished in a PVDF lacquer that shrugs off sun, rain and pollution for years.
It is the default material for modern building facades, elevations, shopfronts and signage, and works equally well on interior walls and ceilings. Urbane Decor supplies ACP in Platinum, Pearl and Ruby grades plus fire-retardant FR, in 3 mm and 4 mm, across over 100 finishes, with pan-India delivery and trade and BOQ support.

ACP sheets start at ₹75 per square foot. Four things move the number: the grade, the thickness, the coating and the finish. Standard sheets are 1220 × 2440, 3050 and 3660 mm, so a typical elevation panel covers 32–44 sq ft.

What is an ACP sheet made of?
An ACP sheet is two thin aluminium skins bonded to a solid core. Standard ACP uses an LDPE core; FR ACP uses a fire-retardant mineral core. The front skin carries a PVDF lacquer that gives the colour and weather resistance.

What is the difference between regular and FR ACP?
Regular ACP has an economical LDPE core, suited to signage, interiors and low-rise cladding. FR ACP has a fire-retardant mineral core rated EN 13501 Class B-s1,d0 and SGS certified, which restricts flame spread and is used on high-rise and public buildings.
What thickness of ACP is used for exterior facades?
4 mm ACP is standard for exterior facades (available in Platinum and Pearl grades). 3 mm (Ruby) is used for signage, shopfronts and interiors. Custom thickness up to 6 mm is available.
What is the standard ACP sheet size?
Standard sizes are 1220 x 2440 mm, 1220 x 3050 mm and 1220 x 3660 mm. Custom widths up to 1550 mm are available on request.

How long does an ACP facade last?
PVDF-lacquered exterior ACP typically holds its colour and finish for 10 to 15 years or more. Our ACP carries a 6-year product warranty, with a coating warranty of up to 10 years.
Can ACP be used indoors?
Yes. Besides facades, ACP is widely used indoors for wall panelling, false ceilings, partitions, lift lobbies and furniture, thanks to its flat finish and easy fabrication.
How are ACP sheets fixed?
Panels are cut, routed and folded, then fixed to an aluminium sub-framework by mechanical fastening or structural silicone. Cassette systems are used for ventilated rainscreen facades.
