Is PU Stone the same as real marble or granite?
No — PU Stone is a lightweight engineered panel with a hyper-realistic marble or granite finish. It gives you the same look as natural stone, but it is far lighter, will not crack along veins, and costs a fraction of a solid slab.
How are the panels installed?
They are fixed with adhesive directly onto any clean, flat and dry surface. Panels can be cut to size on site with simple tools, so most feature walls are completed in a single day without specialist fitters.
Are PU Stone panels waterproof?
Yes. The polyurethane surface is fully waterproof and wipe-clean, which makes the panels well suited to splash zones and humid interiors. They are designed for interior surfaces rather than continuously submerged use.
How much lighter are they than natural stone?
Roughly one-tenth of the weight of an equivalent marble or granite slab. That means no structural reinforcement, easy handling and much lower transport and installation costs.
