How to choose a wall panel supplier in India
Most suppliers claim the same things: premium quality, pan-India delivery, best price. None of that is testable. These are the eight questions that actually separate them — and the answers you should expect.
What actually separates one supplier from another.
Work through these in order. A supplier who answers the first three specifically is usually worth continuing with; one who answers in adjectives is not.
Warranty
A number alone means little. Ask what the warranty actually covers - warping, swelling, delamination, termite damage, fade - and get it in writing. Most panel sellers in India offer one to two years, or nothing at all.
Dispatch and lead time
This is the question that protects your site schedule. A supplier who cannot tell you a dispatch window is telling you they order in after you do. Ask specifically what happens above 500 sq ft.
Sample policy
Photographs flatter panels badly - density, embossing depth, gloss level and colour all read differently in the hand. A supplier who will not get samples to you is a supplier you should not specify.
Range breadth
Mixing four suppliers across one project means four lead times, four invoices and four people to chase when a batch is short. Ask whether they cover wet areas, feature walls, facades and curved surfaces.
Trade support
A supplier who works with architects daily will convert your drawing into panel counts, trims and wastage without being asked. One who does not is selling to retail and taking your project on the side.
Installation coverage
Almost every supplier claims pan-India. Fewer will name the cities. Ask directly, and ask what support you get where they do not install.
Fire and specification documents
For hotels, offices and high-rise facades this is not optional. Ask for the standard and the testing body by name. If a supplier cannot produce a report, the material cannot go into a commercial spec.
Repeat-order consistency
Phase-two orders are where panel projects fail. Ask how long they hold a finish in the range, and whether they can reserve stock against a phased project.

When you should choose someone else.
A guide that says the writer wins on every count is an advertisement. Here is where we honestly do not:
- You need the supplier to install, outside a major city. We install in major cities only. Elsewhere we supply direct with a fitting guide and BOQ, and your carpenter fits it — but if you want one accountable party for supply and fitting in a smaller town, a local contractor-supplier will serve you better.
- You want to walk into a showroom in your city. We have one Experience Centre, in Andheri East, Mumbai. Everywhere else you are choosing from samples and photographs.
- You need the widest up-country dealer availability. Large dealer-network brands are stocked in more towns. We supply direct, which is why our lead times and pricing are what they are — but direct supply means one dispatch point, not a shop in every district.
- You need flooring, countertops or structural material. We make wall and ceiling surfaces, for interiors and exteriors. Anything that takes footfall, weight or a knife is not our category.
Choosing a supplier, answered.
How do I choose a wall panel supplier in India?
Judge suppliers on eight things: warranty length and what it covers, dispatch and lead time, whether they will send samples, range breadth, whether they produce a BOQ, which cities they install in, whether they can provide fire test reports, and whether repeat batches will match. Ask each question directly and prefer the supplier who answers specifically rather than claiming pan-India everything.
What warranty should a wall panel supplier give in India?
Most panel sellers in India offer one to two years or no written warranty. Ask what the warranty covers, not just its length - warping, swelling, delamination, termite damage and fade should be named. Urbane Decor gives a 6-year warranty on every panel.
Should I pay for wall panel samples?
You should always handle the material before specifying it, because photographs understate density, embossing depth and gloss. Urbane Decor sends free samples on project enquiries anywhere in India - share the wall size and city.
Do wall panel suppliers in India install as well as supply?
Some do, in limited cities. Almost all claim pan-India installation and far fewer will name the cities, so ask directly. Urbane Decor installs in major cities; elsewhere we supply direct and provide a fitting guide and BOQ so a local carpenter can fit the panels, which needs no wet trades and creates almost no dust.
What documents do I need to specify wall panels for a commercial project?
Ask for a fire test report naming the standard and the testing body. For facades and high-rise work this is not optional. Urbane Decor FR-grade ACP is tested to EN 13501 Class B-s1,d0 by SGS and the report is available on request.
How much do wall panels cost in India?
From about ₹75 per square foot for ACP up to ₹500 for premium charcoal finishes. Clvin PVC starts at ₹99, Wudonn fluted WPC at ₹120 and UV marble sheets at ₹125 per square foot.
