What is wall cladding?
Cladding is any sheet, panel or louver fixed onto a wall as its outer skin. On a building it keeps out rain, sun and dust and defines the elevation. Inside, it replaces paint, tiles or wallpaper with a durable, low-maintenance finish.
People often ask about the difference between cladding and facade. The facade is the whole front face of a building; cladding is the material layer that covers it. So ACP cladding, louvers and stone-look panels are all ways of building a facade. The right cladding depends on where it goes: an exterior wall needs a UV-stable, 100% waterproof, termite-proof material, while an interior wall can use a wider range of decorative panels.

What is the best exterior wall cladding in India?
For facades and elevations, ACP (aluminium composite panel) is the standard choice: it is weatherproof, UV-stable, light and available in 100+ finishes from ₹75 per sq ft. For a warm wood look on balconies and elevation bands, use exterior-grade WPC louvers from ₹120 per sq ft.
What is the difference between cladding and facade?

How much does wall cladding cost per sq ft in India?

Is ACP cladding fire-rated?
Standard ACP has a polyethylene core. For high-rise and public buildings we supply an FR-grade ACP with a fire-retardant mineral core, tested to EN 13501 Class B-s1,d0 by SGS.
How long does exterior cladding last?
PVDF-coated ACP is made to hold its colour and finish through years of sun and rain with only an occasional wash, and our cladding carries a 6-year warranty. Life depends on the grade, the fixing system and exposure, so specify an exterior grade for any outdoor wall.
Can interior wall panels be used as exterior cladding?
No. Indoor PVC, MDF, rattan cane and alabaster are not UV-stable and will fade, warp or rot outside. Use ACP, aluminium composite louvers or exterior-grade WPC for outdoor walls.
